The event which is first of its kind will hold between tomorrow Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 November 2018, at Radisson Blu, Lagos.

“Closing this gap will mitigate the high degree of post-harvest losses incurred annually, directly impacting human nutrition particularly at the lower socio-economic levels, and improve wealth retention and distribution along the agricultural value chain.” The statement reads
“With the combined technical knowledge and expertise of anchor partners, the robust discussions, the summit should define the way forward in this agribusiness sector, whereby business opportunities can be created and existing businesses in the value chain can be enhanced.” The statement added
The event tagged “Harnessing Cold Chain Technologies for Post-Harvest Loss Reduction, Effective Healthcare Delivery and Economic Growth in West Africa” is supported by the Government of the Netherlands which is expected to engage representatives of the Government and International cold chain experts.
