You may be wondering just what is the AAD. AAD stands for AgroAfrica Dialogue. The AgroAfrica Dialogue is a strategic undertaking put together by AgroAfrica to bring together agro investors in the United States to meet with their counterparts in Africa thus providing them with networking opportunities.
More importantly, this convocation provides an opportunity for investors from both continents to meet with representatives of Africa’s foremost development bank and learn first-hand how they can key into the vision of the AfDB as private sector operatives and join in achieving the one goal of feeding Africa’s hungry.
This year, and every year after it, we shall gather in Des Moines, the World’s Agricultural Capital to share ideas that will help in curbing hunger in Africa. Our convocation will birth ideas that will influence the policy direction of African Agricuture. Ultimately, Africa will feed Africa not by depending on foreign aid, but by being the beautiful bride that will be wooed by Foreign Direct Investment.
Join us as we gather at the Ruan Laureates Room, Wednesday October 17, 2018 from 9am to 12noon led by the 2017 World Food Prize Laureate and President of the African Development Bank Dr Akinwumi Adesina.
